PNAM PRESIDENT SELECTED IN THE NURSE-LED VACCINE CONFIDENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

We would like to congratulate Ms. Reglita Laput, MPHM, RN, the current President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Michigan (PNAM) for being selected in the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium’s Nurse-Led Vaccine Confidence Advisory Committee (VCAC).  She will take part in Nurse-Led COVID Vaccine Confidence Project, a partnership between the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The VCAC will serve a “critical role in informing the development and adaptation of COVID-19 vaccine guidance, tools, and best practices that consider the needs of nurses working in community settings with vulnerable populations.”  Her previous public health experience working with the World Health Organization on vaccine initiatives in the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia made her an exceptional candidate for this committee. Ms. Laput is one of the 20 applicants selected out of 145 who applied from around the country.
